Privacy
Privacy for private translated calls.
NomiTalk is built for one-to-one calls between people who know and trust each other. This page explains what voice and account data we use to run the service.
During live calls
- NomiTalk processes audio during calls to provide live captions and translated voice.
- Guests can join with an invite link or room code and do not need an account.
- Minutes run only while translation is on.
- Trusted service providers may process audio to help deliver the live experience.
Planned saved voice profiles
- Premium Voice is planned to support optional saved voice profiles.
- If you create a saved voice profile after the feature launches, recordings will be used only to create or improve that profile.
- Live call audio is not silently used to create or improve a saved voice profile.
- When available, you will be able to delete a saved voice profile from your account settings.
Retention
Recordings provided for saved voice profile setup may be kept for up to 30 days for playback, progress, and retry support, then removed from local storage where possible. If you delete a saved voice profile, we also try to delete the provider voice linked to your account.
Accounts and billing records
We store account, verification, and billing records needed to run the service, keep rooms secure, and show your balance and purchase history. We do not publish provider credentials, private call content, or raw private audio in customer-facing pages.
